Question: Why can't I get my listings posted using the Y! Seller Manager? The Y! Seller Manager is broken!
There have been some issues with the new Y! Seller Manager. We wrote this FAQ to provide you with guidelines to get you up and running, and to help us help you better if it's a deeper problem.
First, we have researched a lot of the issues, and have determined that the majority of the problems are with people trying to upload to countries where they are not set up to sell. Please make sure that when submitting products with the YSM tool, that you only submit products for the country which you are registered.
Secondly, try maintenance refresh or re-creating the auctions.
If all else fails:
Step 1. Verify that you have a valid credit card registered with Yahoo!
Auctions. From the top page of auctions, on the right hand side, click the link
to register. If you're signed in and your wallet information is correct, it will
indicate that you are already registered.
Step 2. Have the user's accepted the terms of service? Same as step 1.
Step 3. Try submitting a single auction without the bulk loader to ensure there are
no problems with your account.
Step 4. Download and install the very latest version of the bulk loader. You may want
to export your templates and drafts before re-installing. To do so, select
export from the file menu in the seller manager. Select import to import these
to the new version once you've installed it.
Step 5. Try the troubleshooting tips from the seller manager help menu. Hit F1 key or
from the help menu select seller manager help. Then click on the troubleshooting
link.
Step 6. If it's still not working, turn on logging and we can review the YSM
logs to determine what is happening.
