Yahoo! Auctions - New Features

Yahoo! Auctions is constantly striving to provide the best online service for buyers and sellers. Thanks to feedback from our users, we have recently implemented the following features.

Minimum Bidder Rating	Now Sellers can "pre-screen" their bidders. The Minimum Bidder Rating option determines which bidders are required to perform credit card authorization before bidding on your auction. The default is None -- this means that no bidders will be required to enter a card number. Set this to a number and any bidder with a rating lower than this will be forced to enter a credit card. Set it to All Bidders to require all bidders to enter a credit card. We currently do not have credit card check available in certain countries, therefore the system will not let user's from those countries bid if this is enabled.
New Help Pages	We added a Glossary and Frequently Asked Questions guide to our Help pages. Also, you can now search our help pages.
Reserve Bidder	Sellers, it is now possible to rate a reserve bidder. To rate a reserve bidder, access the auction through 'My Auctions', then click on 'Remove' next to the winner's name. The Reserve Bidder will then be promoted to the Winner's List. Click on 'Leave Feedback' to rate that person.
Re-submit Auctions	You may now re-submit any auction, even those auctions that had winners. Just click on 'Resubmit' on the auction page or through 'My Auctions'.
Options	Now it's easier to customize your Yahoo! Auctions experience. Click on the "Options" link in the greybar of any auctions page and gain quick access to Auction Alerts, Event Notification, Customize Winning Emails, Profile Editing, Blacklist, and Account Information.
Watchlist	You can now track your favorite auctions by clicking on the "Add to My Watchlist" link located above the bid box on any item page. When and if you are ready to bid, you can then access your Watchlist by clicking on the "My Auctions" link.
Blacklisting	Having trouble with a repeat bad bidder? Now you can blacklist them from bidding on any of your auctions again. You can access the blacklist from your auction manager or by clicking on the "Options" link.
Alerts	With this new feature you tell us what you're looking for and as soon as it's been uploaded to the site we'll send you an alert. To add an alert click on "Alert Me" at the bottom of any listings page. You can also add specific search words to target your alert. Edit your Auction Alerts by clicking on the "Options" link.
Event Notification	Yahoo! Auctions will notify you by email or pager of different activity on your auction site at your request. To change or add notifications, click on the "Options" link.
Profile Page	Sellers and buyers can share information with one another on their Yahoo! Auctions profile page. This is a great place to put contact information, sales policies, and to let others know what types of items you collect or sell. To edit your profile, click on the "Options" link. Customize Winning Emails	Seller's can add a special note to winning bidders in the "Close of Auction" emails sent out by the Yahoo! Auctions system. This is a great way to give contact information to your buyers. Edit or add to your messages by clicking on the "Options" link.
